GOD IS NOT MAD AT YOU

“Just as I swore in the time of Noah that I would never again let a flood cover the earth, so now I swear  that I will never again be angry and punish you (Isaiah 54:9).

How many people really know that God is not angry with them? Do you know that God is not mad at you anymore? Many still come to God with a heart filled with fear thinking; oh!! God is not happy with me because of this wrong I have done. He must be angry now at me. I must beg him to forgive me. Some persons feel so bad that even to beg for forgiveness becomes difficult because to them they have committed many and terrible sins. Even when they beg to be forgiven, they still don't believe they have been forgiven.
   In the days of Noah God swore never again to destroy the earth with flood and till date, that sign which is rainbow still appears as a reminder to us about what He has promised.
But today, God has sworn never again to be angry with you or punish you and Jesus is the sign for this promise. Do you know what it means for God to swear? That is to say that His promises will never be broken.
   Why would God not be angry and punish you again? It's because, He already poured His anger and punishment over Human sins upon Jesus Christ. The reason He had to punish Jesus was because He said in His word, no sinner would go unpunished. Remember each and everyone of us falls into the position of  being a sinner for the scripture said, all have sinned and fallen short of God's Glory. Since God's word cannot be broken or made void, He had to carry out His word of punishing sinners(you and I).
   However, He provided Jesus and used Jesus as our punishment. Instead of punishing us individually, He punished us collectively by emptying his anger on Jesus and used His blood to cleanse us.
  Right now if you are thinking that God is still mad at you, you are simply walking in ignorance. He forgave you all your sins even before you were born. Recieve the gift of the forgiveness of sins He has given you in Christ Jesus and be free forever from guilt, pain and condemnation.
   GOD LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU COULD EVER IMAGINE!! HE IS NOT MAD AT YOU FOR HE HAS SWORN NEVER TO BE NOR PUNISH YOU AGAIN!!
